At Risman Insurance Agencies, we believe that being a good neighbor means more than helping clients protect what matters most—it means actively supporting the communities where we live and work.
Recently, three members of our team—Jess, Gwen, and Christen—participated in a volunteer event at Bread & Roses Community Kitchen and Emergency Pantry in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The event was organized by The Andover Companies in partnership with Building Impact and brought together insurance professionals and community volunteers with a shared goal: helping fight food insecurity across the North Shore.
Throughout the day, volunteers worked side-by-side preparing meals, unloading food deliveries, organizing donations, stocking pantry shelves, and improving pantry spaces to create a welcoming environment for individuals and families seeking assistance.
Bread & Roses serves approximately 12,000 community members each month, providing nutritious meals, emergency food assistance, and supportive services to those facing hunger and hardship. Thanks to the efforts of the volunteer team, 240 meals were prepared and served during the event.
We are incredibly proud of Jess, Gwen, and Christen for generously donating their time and representing Risman Insurance Agencies with compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to service.
